Of all days, and in the midst of a drought, we had rain... and wow, did it RAIN... It was crazy!  (Personally, I think rain brings you luck on your wedding day.  It poured on my wedding day, and my husband and I celebrated 15 years in April!)  But let me tell you, the rain didn't STOP US!!  We made the most of it!  

I've known Jodi for, oh gosh, many years now.  I just love her to death!  I got to meet Jeff last year, and I could see why she loved him so much.  

I was honored to do their engagement pictures, and we encountered some crazy cold & windy weather that day.  As Jeff pointed out to me on their wedding day (between one of the storms), "You seem to take our pictures in extreme weather conditions..."  I guess I do!  Let's go for snow next time, shall we?  ;)  All kidding aside... this was an absolutely wonderful day.

The wedding was outside in a beautiful wooded area.  As the song "Here Comes The Sun" played, the sun came out -- it was absolutely perfect!  After the ceremony was complete, it was time to party inside the Indianapolis Yacht Club on Geist.  Jeff & Jodi had, quite possibly, THE most fun wedding party!!!  

After the cake was cut, the dances were danced, the food was eaten... it was time to party.  And what a party it was!!  Tons of friends & family out on the dance floor.  There was the battle of Purdue -v- IU Fight Songs, Bye-Bye Miss American Pie, and cousins being crazy together.  It was so much fun being there!!  

My assistant, Tammy, and I were so grateful to be a part of this special day.  Not only did we take pictures, but we also go to see a good friend get married.  It was business and pleasure for us!  :)
